Depositions Depositions are recorded in accordance with rules for
civil procedure with the time and date visible at the bottom of the frame. Each participant and the deponent are assigned
their own microphone and a mixer is used to equalize the sound level of each. Recording to DVD, videocassette, mini DVC, CD
and computer hard drive simultaneously is possible and done redundantly for backup. Portable equipment is configured for quick
setup and backup gear is on hand for safety. Finished materials are usually deliverable the same day. Trial Presentations Using the tools and skills
of the trade to provoke emotion and persuasively convey information is what we do best. In settlement documentaries and 'day-in-the-life' presentations interviews are sometimes used
in combination with narrative. Carefully chosen camera angles, thoughtful editing and graphics work to make a powerful presentation.
Accident reconstruction is usually done 'news style' - where live video, graphics, photographs and animation
are matched with a succinct narrative. A comprehensive package accompanies the video - meticulously prepared with photographs,
police reports, maps, aerial shots, mapping and witness' statements - bound with tabbed pages. In serious injury and wrongful death, telling the story
in a news documentary style works to dramatically and realistically express the pain, suffering, sense of loss and impact
on family and relationships. Click
